Acorn Ancestry work on a fixed price contract, which is much more cost-effective than charging an hourly rate. Our clients know exactly what the cost will be and can be reassured by the knowledge that they will not be confronted with a huge bill along with their family tree package!

To trace back up to 4 generations - £120
To trace back up to 7 generations - £295
To trace back up to 10 generations - £475
Acorn Ancestry will require a 50% deposit before work can begin. The remaining 50% will be paid on satisfactory completion of a project.
Please note that costs given are not inclusive of the purchase of copies of birth and/or marriage certificates to assist in building the family tree and to gather more information necessary to creating the tree in more detail. If certificates are needed, then the client will be informed, and if the client agrees to their purchases, the cost of the certificates (£10 each including postage and packing) will be added to the final bill.
Once the amount to be paid has been discussed and agreed upon, payment can be made by cheque, payable to Acorn Ancestry, or through PayPal, the secure way to pay online, by following the simple instructions below. Please contact us today to discuss your requirements.
Instructions for paying using the PayPal website
1. Click the following link to visit the PayPal website: https://www.paypal.com
2. Login using your email address and password (you may register here if necessary)
3. Click on the 'Send Money' tab at the top of the page
4. Enter the email address 'enquiries@acornancestry.co.uk' into the 'To' field
5. Enter the amount to be paid (as agreed between you and Acorn Ancestry) into the 'Amount' Field
6. Select the 'For Goods' option
7. Click the 'Send Money' button to complete the transaction
